Still Alive!

 Wow.

It's been two years since I've written a post on here. I have to admit, life has been pretty high stress the last little while and unfortunately, writing and book stuff has taken a back seat to other things.

Thankfully, the universe has decided to back off with the 'how much can you handle' attitude and I'm finally able to sit down and spend some time making up some stories.

Some of you have followed along on other social media sites and I want to thank you for that. For those of you who haven't, here's a quick recap of some major life events you may have missed.

First and most importantly, Kyle and I were granted full personal and property guardianship of (now) Sir 21.

Sir 18 is graduated and now working full time while he figures out what he wants to do with his life.

Miss 16 has her license and is working part time after school.

My beautiful niece got married to her amazing wife last summer and I am so happy for them.

I shot my first elk ever and was pretty proud to be able to put a decent amount of meat in the freezer.

Of course, the past couple of years has also been stressful. The semi spent a ridiculous amount of time in the shop (got a new one now that isn't a lemon), both the half ton and jeep needed some pretty pricey work done to them (they're old, paid off, and honestly, this is the first time we've had to sink any money into them other than regular maintenance), oh, and perimenopause is kicking my ass. Fun times.

So, yeah. Life has been busy, but is finally smoothing out and I'm looking forward to spending time writing in my gazebo while watching the kiddos hang out with their friends in the pool.

As for writing?

Well, I have a few things on the go. If you've read the Yours Always series, you'll be happy to know there are couple of related things coming your way.  Kit and Taylor will get a Christmas story this year because Kit deserves to get everything he's ever dreamed of.

There's also a new series starring the kids from the Yours Always series as they get into their 20s. We'll have some friends to lovers, enemies to lovers, grumpy/sunshine, and other tropes with a mix of m/f, m/m, and f/f.

Do I have any paranormal or fantasy stories planned? Maybe. Yes. Two. Three.  One will be a rewriting of a YA series I had under my other name, but pretty revamped.

For those of you who have read my Quelondain books written as Mireille Chester, I think you'll be happy to hear that we'll be heading back there because, well, I really miss that world and I have shit ton of outlines I had written up before I decided a pen name was necessary.

Do I have release dates for any of these? No.  The only one I know for sure will be out by a certain date is Kit's Christmas book. You can expect that one December 1st with the preorder going up in the next little while.

So, yeah. I have enough stories outlined to last me the next ten years.

And with that, I'll get off of here and get to writing them.

Stay safe and much love,

Ryenne

If you're wondering if you've got any books to catch up on, here's what out at the moment!
